Board of Trustees Meeting
March 13, 2023
5:30 p.m.
Minutes
Board President Sue Wells called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
Members Present: Debbie Clark, Sara Handlin, Pat Hollada, Kathy Storey, and Sue Wells
Members Absent: Brian Crisp and Stephanie Hart
Also Present: Employees Kimberly Livesay, Henry Stickel, Susan Stickel, and Pam Teague
Audience Present: Theresa Bates and Larry Journey
Motion by Kathy Storey, seconded by Sara Handlin to approve the February board meeing minutes pass. All were in favor.
Motion by Debbie Clark, seconded by Sara Handlin to approve the payment of bills passed. All were in favor.
Motion by Kathy Storey, seconded by Sara Handlin to approve the financial reports passed. All were in favor.
Librarian’s Report:
Susan stated that she will be on vacation the week of March the 20th.
She had a brief discussion in regards to the Benton Grade School Early Childhood classes and their visit to the library.
Old Business:
Pam Teague presented to the board a quote from Tru-Bilt representative Julio Blanco. A discussion followed with no action taken.
Debbie Clark briefly discussed plans for the Reading Garden dedication. Pat Hollada and Susan Stickel will be meeting with Debbie Clark on Tuesday, March 14th to begin planning for the event.
New Business:
None
There being no other business or public comment, meeting was adjourned at 6:06 by a motion from Debbie Clark and seconded by Sara Handlin.
