Board of Trustees Meeting
Minutes
March 9, 2020
Vice President Chris Jerrells called the meeting to order at 5:24 pm.
Members Present: Debbie Clark, Doris Heaton, Pat Hollada, and Chris Jerrells
Members Absent: Stephanie Hart, Kathy Storey, and Sue Wells
Also Present: Susan Stickel
Motion by Doris Heaton, seconded by Pat Hollada to approve the February board meeting minutes passed. All were in favor.
Motion by Debbie Clark, seconded by Doris Heaton to approve the payment of bills passed. All were in favor.
Motion by Doris Heaton, seconded by Pat Hollada to approve the financial reports passed. All were in favor.
Librarian’s Report:
Programming:
Susan distributed the March Calendar of Events focusing on Pam’s program for Genealogy Day at the library. Susan also reported upcoming events for the remainder of the year.
Old Business:
The following report was given concerning the Reading Garden:
The date of the open house will be Saturday, June the 6th. The time will be from noon until 5pm.
Plantscape has been contacted and the spring landscaping project will be complete by mid April.
Security has been contacted and project will be completed soon. In addition to the approved security, Susan will inquire about a microphone.
Members from the community have volunteered to help with the open house and will be joined by board members and library staff.
There being no new or other business, Doris Heaton motioned, Debbie Clark seconded to adjourn the meeting at 5:39 pm.
