Board of Trustees Meeting Minutes
November 12, 2019
5:30 PM
Board President Sue Wells called the meeting to order at 5:34.
Members Present: Debbie Clark, Doris Heaton, Pat Hollada, Kathy Storey, and Sue Wells
Members Absent: Stephanie Hart and Chris Jerrells
Also Present: Director Susan Stickel
Motion by Doris Heaton, seconded by Debbie Clark to approve the October board meeting minutes passed. All were in favor.
Motion by Doris Heaton seconded by Kathy Storey to approve payment of bills passed. All were in favor.
Motion by Doris Heaton, seconded by Debbie Clark to approve the financial reports passed. all were in favor.
Librarian’s Report:
The bank directed Susan to have newly elected board member Chris Jerrells sign the necessary paperwork first, then report back to the remaining board members for them to do the same.
Maintenance:
Susan reported that the cupola for the gazebo is finished and Henry will install sometime this month.
FW Electric has been contacted to repair two outdoor pole lights and any indoor ballasts that may need replaced.
Progams:
Susan distributed the calendar of events for November.
A tentative date of December the 20th has been set for the children’s Christmas with Santa.
Memorials and Donations:
Susan reported total donations for the month.
Old Business:
Henry Stickel designed an outdoor bookcase for the reading garden. He would also be able to build and install it.
Motion was made by Debbie Clar and seconded by Doris Heaton to proceed with the project. All were in favor.
New Business:
Motion by Doris Heaton, seconded by Kathy Storey to adopt the Annual Abatement Ordinance #104-19. All were in favor.
Motion by Pat Hollada, seconded by Debbie Clark to approve the Tax Levy Ordinance #103-19 passed unanimously by roll call vote.
There being no further business, Pat Hollada motioned, Debbie Clark seconded to adjourn the meeting at 5:57.
