BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING
SPECIAL MEETING
MARCH 15, 2021
The March 15, 2021 special meeting of the Board of Trustees was called to order at 5:30 pm by President Sue Wells.
Members Present: Doris Heaton, Pat Hollada, Chris Jerrells, Kathy Storey, and Sue Wells. Debbie Clark (by teleconference)
Members Absent: Stephanie Hart
Also Present: Susan Stickel, Library Director
The special meeting was called to discuss the purchase of the property of C & J Motors just south and adjacent to the library.
Sue Wells stated that Mr and Mrs Chester Pusaczyk,, owners of the property, are asking for $84,000 for the property with the right to lease the property at $1 per month for the balance of 2021 or until they wish to vacate prior to December 31, 2021. David McCollum has offered to do the paperwork at no charge to the library.
Motion by Pat Hollada to purchase the property for $84,000 with the understanding of the leases arrangement passed unanimously by roll call vote.
Motion by Doris Heaton to designate Sue Wells and Kathy Storey as signees of the agreement passed unanimously.
Motion by Doris Heaton to adjourn passed.
