The Corps of Engineers came out to give us a great program on the animals in Southern Illinois. We then made some ocean/lake pictures.

We had a great time trying some of the events done at the Olympic games. We then made Olympic torches and flags.

Day 2 of the Summer Reading Program had us playing outdoor games, eating snacks and building marshmallow sculptures. Of course, we started the day with a story read by Miss Norma.

We had a great time playing board games and listening to Ms Norma read on our first day of the Summer Reading Program

Summer Reading Program Sign up begins now. Programs will take place on Thursdays beginning June 16th through July 23rd from 1:00 to 3:00pm.

We had a great day! We had 42 kids 12 adults and 3 student volunteers.

Our Sticks and Stones Summer Reading Program was a hit on Monday, July 13.

We had beautiful weather July 6 at our Summer Reading Program. 63 kids, 14 adults and 7 volunteers were present for all sorts of water games. A special thanks goes out to the Benton Fire Department for helping it “rain” on the participants!
