MINUTES OF MEETING
MAY 14, 2015
The meeting was called to order at 5:10 pm by President Doris Heaton.
Members Present: Pam Appleton, Stephanie Hart, Doris Heaton, Sammy Kraft and Sue Wells
Members Absent: Linda Kraft and Jake Seymour
Also Present: Susan Stickel, Librarian
A motion by Stephanie Hart, seconded by Pam Appleton, to approve the minutes of April 13, 2015.
A motion by Sue Wells, seconded by Sammy Kraft, to approve the payment of bills passed.
A motion by Sue Wells, seconded by Sammy Kraft, to accept the Financial Reports passed.
Susan Stickel reported that $2000 was received from the Hungate Family Historical Fund. The group has disbanded and is distributing the funds to those places holding the family records.
The small garden at the end of the parking lot is being planted by Brownie and Girl Scouts.
The new security camera has been installed.
The reports of the Program Director were distributed.
Motion by Sammy Kraft, seconded by Stephanie Hart to go into executive session to discuss personnel at 5:30 passed.
Meeting resumed at 5:40.
Motion by Sammy Kraft, seconded by Pam Appleton, to raise the salary of Susan Stickel by 10% effective May 21 following her probationary period passed 3 – 1 on roll call vote.
Yes: Pam Appleton, Stephanie Hart, Sammy Kraft
No: Sue Wells
A proposal from Davis Tree Service to remove the dead tree beside the statue and trim the other tree in that location for $1400 was received. Motion by Sammy Kraft, seconded by Sue Wells, to accept the bid passed.
A bid for an electronic message sign was discussed. No action was taken at this time.
Meeting was adjourned at 5:50.
